Starbucks Lemon Loaf
I have made this cake many times and it is the very best cake I’ve ever eaten.
I will definitely make this cake again and highly recommend this recipe!!
Make sure you only add the ingredients on the ingredient list
Ingredients list :
for LOAF :
•1-1/2 C. FLOUR
•1/2 TSP. BAKING SODA
•1/2 TSP. BAKING POWDER
•1/2 TSP. SALT
•1 C. SUGAR
•2 TBSPS. BUTTER” Softened”.
•1 TSPS. VANILLA
•1 TSPS. LEMON EXTRACT
•1/3 C. LEMON JUICE
•1/2 C. OIL
•1 C. POWDERED SUGAR; Plus 1 Tablespoon.
•2 TBSPS. WHOLE MILK; “I Used 2%”
•1/2 TSP. LEMON EXTRACT
My personal method :
Firstly,Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
Next, Use a mixer to blend together the eggs,sugar ,butter, vanilla, lemon extract and lemon juice in a medium bowl.
And Pour wet ingredient into the dry ingredients and blend until smooth.
Add oil and mix well.
Pour batter into a well greased 9*5-inches loaf pan.
Bake at 350ºF for 45 mins or until a toothpick stuck into center of the cake comes out clean.
Make the lemon icing by combining all the icing ingrediiients in a small bowl with an electric mixer on low speed.
Lastly, When the loaf is cool, remove it from pan & frost the top with the icing.
Let the icing set up before slicing.
